This one-year programme in Business Studies is of interest to students who wish to study a shorter, but complete further educational programme within the field of economics and management. Either because they already have higher educational qualifications, wish to study the programme while they continue working, or wish to update existing knowledge or gain new knowledge within the field.
Key words: Business, micro and macroeconomics, marketing, mathematics, financial analysis and accounts, business law, organisation theory and statistics.
The year-long programme in Business Studies is equivalent to the first year of the Bachelor’s study programme, Business Administration.
The aim of the programme is to provide qualification for employment in finance and administration in the private and public sectors. The programme may also form the basis of further studies in economics at Telemark University College or other university colleges and universities in Norway and abroad.
