The programme is identical to the final year of the BA in Cultural Administration.
The study programme is entrepreneur-oriented, with administrative and project-oriented topics, and is largely focused on the student’s independent work. The study programme may, together with other relevant educational qualifications, constitute a 60 ECTS part of a Bachelor’s degree.
The Cultural Administration study programme at Telemark University College is the only one of its kind in Norway that is associated with the European Network of Cultural Training Centres (ENCATC). Through this international network, as many as four students every year will be given the opportunity in their third year to participate in a two week project, Synaxis Baltica - Student Culture Management.
Graduates may seek employment in cultural institutions, festival work, cultural administration in the public sector, NGOs, youth clubs, etc. The degree qualifies students for admission to the Master’s degree programme in Cultural Studies.
