Norwegian Studies, 1 year programme
The study programme consists of four courses that ensure breadth and understanding of language, grammar and literature, and provide in-depth preparation for teaching Norwegian in schools. It is possible to take the programme’s individual courses in both the autumn and spring semesters.
Teaching methods include lectures, seminars and group exercises.
Students will be given assignments to present in the seminars.
.
The study programme qualifies successful candidates to teach Norwegian in primary and secondary schools. However, before candidates can use the qualification to teach in schools, they must first complete a teacher training study programme. It may also form part of the Bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature, if studied with the specialisation in Norwegian, or it may form part of other Bachelor’s degrees
