NorskPHD PROGRAMMES
A PhD-program is a government-issued three-year research program. Such education includes the participation of relevant educational courses, writing a research-based dissertation, dissemination and participation in national and international research forums. The program is concluded with the trial lecture and disputation, and gives the candidate the degree of PhD.
PhD at TUC
Telemark University College was granted the right to award PhDs in process, energy and automation in 2009. In 2012 TUC offers two more PhD programs, one in culture and cultural policy research and one in ecology. Nearly 60 PhD students are currently studying og otherwise connected to TUC, a rapidly growing number of them of them are accepted to our own PhD programme.
