Foss Biolab

Foss Biolab is a joint laboratory with Foss farm and Telemark University College as partners. It is located at Foss farm north of Skien in Norway. In the lab, a continuous flow pilot AD reactor of 220 L is fed filtered, diluted (25% added water) as substrate for production of energy-rich biogas which contains mainly methane. The liquid effluent from the reactor is used as feed to a nitrification reactor to produce high quality fertilizer.
