Many of the courses have mandatory elements which must be passed prior to taking an examination. You can read more about this in your individual education plan, and you are responsible for keeping yourself updated on this subject.

As a student at TUC, you have the right to sit examinations three times (the original examination + two re-sits) for the same course. Not showing up to an examination counts as one examination attempt. It is therefore important that you register your absence a minimum of 7 days prior to the examination date if you plan not to attend an examination. You can do this on the StudentWeb.

If you have used your three examination attempts you can apply for a forth attempt. A fourth examination attempt can only be approved under exceptional circumstances, if illness is the reason this must be proved by documentation.

External candidate examination
It is possible to re-sit an examination as an external candidate after you have graduated from TUC. Do you wish to register for a re-sit as an external candidate, please contact the faculty for further information.
