Email it-support with any questions.

Check your college email regularly. The college will only send email to your college email-address.

Your email address

• becomes available on activation of your account (see menu)
• has the format studentnumber@student.hit.no
• Only this email-address should be registered in studentweb and fronter.
• an addressbook will show your fellow student addresses

Web-based email client

A browser-based client provides email access everywhere. The college does not provide the SMTP-service for dormitory networks (you cannot use, say, Thunderbird or Outlook with the college email-service).

fronter email

fronter email may be configured. You may configure personal mailboxes also. Addressbook is available.
