Computer lab software

The college provides most of the software required for regular class course work.

Contact IT-support if you require any other software, we may be able to help you.

Some software may be installed on student laptops.(Talk to your lecturer.)

Software on personal laptops

• Virus and malware protection: as a college student you may use free software from F-Secure (login required)
• PDFCreator is freely available online, makes pdf-files.
• Office-suite can be downloaded for free (OpenOffice.org or libreoffice.org), free online-office can be found at http://docs.google.com and http://office.microsoft.com. MS Office can be purchased at http://www.microsoft.com/student/office/no-no/default.aspx or in other shops.
• OpenOffice odf-files can be opened in MS Office
• Endnote is available (se below)

Downloading EndNote

For windows: Run EndnoteX5.exe. Login is required during installation.

For MAC: Ver. X5: endnote installs like any other software.
