Individual education plan part I

The Individual Education Plan shall contain regulations concerning the responsibilities and commitments the institution has towards the students and the responsibilities and commitments that students have towards the institution and their fellow students.

You will find your Individual Education Plan in Studentweb.

The curriculum will describe goals, content and composition of the programme in question. Make yourself familiar with the plan for your programme. All plans are published online. Please note that there may be variations in the plans from year to year. As a rule of thumb you will follow the plan that was valid when you started the programme, but devations may occur.

A number of acts, regulations and guidelines determine your duties and rights as a student, as well as the relationship between you and the university college.

Plagiarisation control

A growing problem is that students are handing in papers where some of the text, or the entire text, is taken from external sources without naming a source.

In order to uncover such practises, Telemark University College will use a text-recognition programme, starting in the academic year of 2009/2010.The programme is based on electronic submission of papers. The text in the papers will be compared to other sources from the internet in order to uncover plagiarisation.
