What, who and how about learning environment

A positive learning environment is important in the day-to-day life as a student and important for the quality of the studies.
The term "learning environment" includes psychosocial, pedagogical, organisational and physical factors.

Psychosocial learning environment:

Means the psychological and social factors that are related to enjoyment anh health.

Pedagogical learning environment:

Means the factors that surround the tuition.

Organisational learning environment:

Means the administration of the programmes and all related factors.

Physical learning environment:

Means classrooms, libraries, computer labs, reading rooms, as well as other buildings and other information.

Who works to improve the learning environment at TUC?

The Learning Environment Committee (LMU), The Foundation for Student Service in Telemark (SiTel), the Operations Office, the IT-services, the students' elected representatives and guidance- and information offices at TUC.

Would you like to contribute to improving the learning environment?

The Learning Environment Committee works to improve the learning environment at the university college, and monitors the safety and welfare situation for students. Every year the Student Organisation of Telemark (SoT) holds elections, where student members are elected from each of the departments of the university college.
