NorskBA Subject Teacher: Education in the Arts
This 3-year programme provides students with the opportunity to work creatively with various materials.
Successful candidates will be qualified to teach the subject in primary and secondary schools. Through teaching practice, students will gain experience of their future professional fields, and, in cooperation with students and supervisors, they will learn to inspire others and plan learning processes.
Career opportunities/Further studies
The programme qualifies students for teaching positions in primary and secondary schools, folk high schools and adult-education programmes. Students who complete the programme will be qualified to work in art and culture institutions, or to engage in various workshop activities. The programme also provides a basis for admission to the MA programme in Art and Design Education.
