Digital Media Design
The study programme provides increased proficiency in the fields of digital competence and visual competence. Visual competence is necessary in a society where a large proportion of communication is visual. Most of the images we are exposed to are in either a digital or digitalised form. Through this programme students will acquire knowledge of the use of technology within visual creative activities, and develop skills in the use of information technology and insight into the equipment and programmes which are currently used for such applications. Students will also cultivate their aesthetic and communicative abilities. The programme also involves the development of a critical and questioning attitude towards ICT.
The study programme is divided into 4 modules: Digital Image Editing, Digital Graphic Design, Web and Information Design, and Media Design.
Teaching and learning methods:
The programme is web-based and includes workshops.
