NorskTextiles - Art and Design
Key topics are clothes design, fashion and textiles art. Active and practical use of fashion and textiles art will be emphasised. You can be your own clothes designer and work with textiles from idea to product. Fashion design, pattern construction, materials theory, and exploration of materials form an important basis for creating good products, both with regard to clothing and artistic production. Research and development are also included in the programme.
The programme is mainly intended as a specialisation course in the third year of the Bachelor’s degree programmes, Subject Teacher: Education in the Arts, Visual Arts and Design, or as the fourth year in Subject Teacher: Practical & Arts Subjects. The programme may also be taken as a one-year independent advanced programme.
