ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
Researchers from around the world think that we are facing environmental problems caused by human activities. Climate changes, population growth, use of soil- and water resources all demand knowledge and research in order to accomplish sustainable development. In our programmes you will get an extensive understanding of the natural systems and learn the skills and competences that employers ask for. We are located in a county with great natural diversity, with waterways that connect these areas to each other, from fjords to the mountains. That is why we have strong field work traditions and a close relationship between theory and practise. We have modern and well-equipped laboratories, in chemistry, biology, microbilogy and genetics, that are used extensively throughout the programmes.
