Interdisciplinary Supervision

This study programme teaches counselling skills, strategies and methods. It is especially intended for teaching in positions which involve counselling in sectors such as the health and social sector, or institutions such as day nurseries and schools or other private and public institutions.

The program is applicable in the fields of health and social care, as well as teacher and preschool teacher. The programme involves collaboration between the Faculty of Health and Social Studies in Porsgrunn and the Faculty of Art, Norwegian Folk Culture and Teacher Education at Notodden.

The teaching is organised into seven two-day seminars in Telemark during the course of the year, and sixty hours of group seminars. One of the 2 day seminars includes an overnight stay which will cost approximately NOK1200.

The sessions are held Monday and Tuesday from 0915 to 1600 on the following dates:
30 - 31 August - Porsgrunn
27 - 28 September - Lien Fjellgard, Svartdal
8 - 9 November - Notodden
17 - 18 January - Porsgrunn
7 - 8 February - Notodden
14 - 15 March - Porsgrunn
2 - 3 May - Notodden
