Sport Management III
Students will acquire knowledge of organisation and leadership, organisation skills and the planning and implementation of projects as well as knowledge of sports policies. The programme focuses on working methods that provide students with experience in working independently, both individually and in teams. The programme includes a one-week study trip.
The study programme corresponds to the third year of the Bachelor’s degree programme, Sports Science, with specialisation in administration and management.

This programme qualifies graduates to administer and lead projects and processes associated with sport and outdoor activities in institutions, businesses and voluntary organisations at the local, regional and national levels. In combination with other programmes, the programme may provide qualification for employment in the public sector, the Norwegian Sports Association and similar organisations, voluntary organisations, the health sector, rehabilitation, tourism, projects and self employment in business or training activities etc. The programme qualifies graduates for admission to the Master’s degree programme in Physical Education, Sport and Outdoor Life Studies.
