This supplementary study programme is aimed at students who have studied pedagogical theory and completed practical training during the course of a 3-year university college education that includes a minimum of 30 ECTS in pedagogy or special education theory.

The study programme aims to provide an introduction to children, adolescents and adults’ different backgrounds, and how interaction with society and educational institutions may promote or inhibit development and learning.

The study programme is offered at both the Notodden and Porsgrunn campuses.

The goal is to provide students with knowledge and the ability to take action with regard to individuals, groups and systems, with a special emphasis on the importance of relations and interactions with different groups.

Workshop weeks: (corrected version 17 August 2010)

The workshops are held Thursday daytime in the weeks 34, 37, 39, 42, 44, 46, 48, 2, 4, 9,
15 and 18 (both Notodden and Porsgrunn).
NOTE: Week 11 only at Notodden and week 13 only in Porsgrunn.
