EndNote

EndNote is a tool for organising references. With EndNote you can find, store and organise your own literature references. Then you can use EndNote in Word or OpenOffice Writer to cite references in the text and to make a reference list. The program has over 4500 predefined bibliographic styles that you can choose from.

Telemark University College has a licence for EndNote which all students and staff can use. The program is relatively easy to use.

Downloading the program

You will find the program via Start - Alle programmer - Installasjon - Installerer EndNote on the college computers.

In order to download EndNoteX6 at home or on your laptop, click on this link: https://download.hit.no/fagprogramvare/endnotex6.exe. Run the file. It should unpack the zip file and install it on your computer. Follow the instructions that appear on screen. You will need to log inn with a valid user name and password for TUC.

To download EndNoteX6 for Mac, click this link: endnote. Installs like any other software.
