TUC aims to gain university status. It requires great expertise in many fields and having an efficient organization with the right quality of service. TUC has a range of measures to raise the competence of employees.

For staff in teaching and research are these schemes:

  • Grants to achieve a Phd
  • Associate Program - Qualifying for Senior Lecturer promotion
  • Associate Program for college teachers

For staff in technical and administrative positions is this scheme:

  • Study leave with pay

TUC has an annual skills plan with a variety of courses and other skills development deals. Some deals are open to all employees, while others offer customized individual groups.
