The Central Administration

TUC's central administration is located in Porsgrunn and has 37 employees.

The central administration represents the university college at an institutional level. The administration is responsible for administrative tasks at the for campuses: Bø, Notodden, Rauland and Porsgrunn.

One full position is established for research administration. In addition the central adminsitration contains other services like archive, accounting, externally funded activities, information service and more.

The tasks of the research administration in the central administration are: being secretary for the Research and Development Committee, reporting to the authorities connected to research and processing cases for the university college leadership. In addition the position is meant to support the Faculties, research communities and individual researchers.
