International Office - Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Bø Campus
The International Office at the Faculty of Arts of Science is the main contact for current and prospective international students studying at our campus in Bø. The Bø campus is one of four campuses at Telemark University College. The majority of our international students are exchange students from our partner institutions while some are taking an entire degree. The office is currently staffed by three employees. The Faculty of Arts of Sciences offers several short term programs taught in English in addtion to Bachelor and Master degree programs taught in Norwegian. There are currently 1500 students studying in Bø. The community has about 5,000 residents and is located only two hours by train southwest from Oslo. The environment in Bø is unique in that it is a small student town , where many students from different parts of Norway come together. Because of the diversity present in Bø, you are guaranteed contact with Norwegian and international students through a variety of activities such as student associations, clubs and many summer and winter sports.
Telemark is one of nineteen counties in Norway. It has a well-appointed location in southern Norway with varying seasons and climatic conditions offering snowy winters and sunny summers.
