TUC - Campus Porsgrunn
The Faculty of Technology and the Faculty of Health and Social Studies are based in Porsgrunn, as well as the central administration services. In addition the Faculty of Art, Folk Culture and Teacher Education offers a series of study programmesin Porsgrunn as well.
The Faculty of Technology offers bachelors, masters and PhD programmes in technology/engineering disciplines. In addition there are other programmes including preparatory courses, programmes for students that have completed apprenticeship, and various postgraduate programmes.
The Faculty of Health and Social Studies offers Nursing, Child Welfare Work Studies, and Social Education programmes. There are both full time and part time programmes, as well as postgraduate programmes.
The Faculty of Art, Folk Culture and Teacher Education is based in Notodden, but offers General Teacher Education and Pre-School Teacher Education programmes here in Porsgrunn.

The faculties are located in modern, student friendly facilities at Kjølnes, 15 minutes walk from the centre of Porsgrunn and 10 minutes walk from the student halls of residence. There are two canteens on the campus that serve hot and cold meals. There is also a bookshop, copying service, laundrette, well equipped gym, large and modern computer labs, wireless network etc.
The university college has an active student community. This includes the students’ building, Elverhøy, a stone’s throw from the campus. Various student groups are based there, including choir, marching band, sports club, diving and underwater rugby club, student newspaper etc. In addition there is social evening every Thursday. The Student Organisation (SiTel) provides accommodation at a reasonable price, which all have free internet connection!
