Welcome
The faculty of health and social studies provides bachelor studies, post-bachelor studies (further education) and one master study within the health and social field.
The faculty counts about 1000 students, an academic staff of about 60 persons plus administrative staff. With about 50 international partners in networks and more than 15 bilateral agreements, we cooperate world-wide.
For partners with bilateral agreements we offer possibilities for exchanges, mainly through the Erasmus programs (European exchange).
Our study program is offered in Norwegian with a few exceptions of shorter topics. Competence in Norwegian is therefore necessary to attend ordinary programs. We might be able to arrange periods of practical placements for English-speaking bachelor students in Nursing and Social Work, representing institutions with agreements.
