Estate Agent

This programme is intended for those who wish to pursue a career in property sales and estate agency brokerage.

Students will gain sound practical knowledge of the role of an estate agent and acquire the necessary skills for working independently as an estate agent. Successful candidates will be entitled to use the title estate agent after two years’ work experience.

Students will also acquire professional insight, analytical abilities and an understanding of the financial, administrative and various legal aspects of the field. The programme will also provide them with a general education that may be used in the area of economics and management.

Career opportunities/Further studies

Upon completion of the programme, students will be qualified to work as estate agents. Formal authorisation may be applied for after two years of experience in the field. With the title of state authorised estate agent, one may apply for a license to practice estate agency brokerage, and start one’s own business or work as a professional manager.

This course also constitutes an economic-administrative education, and with some additional training, opens the way for the possibility of earning authorisation as an accountant. Graduates may also use this programme as a basis for further study, for example for a Master’s degree.
