Norwegian Studies, Workshop and Web-Based 1 year programme
The study programme consists of four independent courses which may be taken separately. Please click on the links below for the course descriptions of the regular study programme, Norwegian Studies. The organisation and evaluation forms of the part-time study programme varies from that of the regular programme, but the content of the two programmes is the same.
Literature before 1900 (autumn 2010)
The key words from the course Literature before 1900 are: Knights, maidens and magical beings, psalms and sin, comedies and moralizing, and building a nation - criticizing the resulting edifice.
This will be followed by the following courses:
Literature after 1900 (spring 2011)
Grammar and Pragmatics (autumn 2011)
Development of Nordic Languages and Variation (spring 2012)

Two workhops per semester will be held in Bø; 15 lectures (audio / PowerPoint) will be available online; tutoring in chat rooms and email, as well as assignments and other teaching activities online.
The workshops in the autumn 2010: 20 - 21 August, 19 - 20 November. Both workshops start at 4 p.m. on Friday and last until Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The examination will be held in week 49
