"College will build its business on the principle of equality and gender equality. All staff should have individual influence and responsibility in relation to their duties. That will create conditions that both gender expertise, values and attitudes will characterize the development of the college" (from TUCs personnel policy).
Main objective of the action plan for gender equality is as follows:
"Gender equality work will be integrated into the business so as to create conditions that both gender expertise, values and attitudes will characterize the development of Telemark University College (TUC).
Equality work at the TUC to facilitate focus on an organizational culture and a work environment that is inclusive and fair to both sexes. "
