Research Council of Norway / Gassnova
TUC Faculty of Technology has in several projects been granted money from the Research Council of Norway.
The Research Council of Norway is TUC's most important provider of funding for research projects.
Gassnova SF (Gassnova) was established to manage governmental interests related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), and is in charge of the construction and operation of the facilities and infrastructure for the planned CCS solutions at Kårstø and Mongstad.
In cooperation with the Research Council of Norway, Gassnova SF established CLIMIT, a programme for research, development and demonstration of technology for environment-friendly gas-fired power generation.
TUC has also received funding via the CLIMIT programme.
