Content:

This programme is available in the autumn term and is aimed at foreign students who wish to study in English at a higher academic level.
The curriculum may vary according to availability and to the wishes of the applicants, but may include the following courses:
• Telemark: Social & Cultural Influences on Identity
• Norwegian Language (three levels)
• Eco-Philosophy
• Emigration/Immigration: Mid-western Texts
• The Individual, Environs and Society

Teaching and learning methods:

Lectures, seminars, group work and submissions. Obligatory study trips. Instruction is in English.

Careers / further study:

For the majority of students, this programme is an approved exchange semester from their studies in their home countries.
